18 Nov.: check-in at LAX in the evening for the flight to Miami at midnight. Arrive to Miami on 19 Nov. around 10am.

 

19 Nov.: transfer to the connecting flight to Varadero at 1:12pm. Arrive to Varadero at 2:15pm. After clearing immigration and retrieving your luggage, transfer to hotel Selectum Family Resort. Dinner at the hotel.

 

20 Nov.: Varadero              (B, L, D)

Full day sightseeing: visit Cuevas de Bellamar (The Cave of Bellamar)- one of Cuba's oldest tourist attractions and is famous for the beauty of the speleothems. Visit Gallery of Artesans Workshop – Exchange with Artesans regarding the elaboration of clay pieces. Return to hotel for lunch. Afternoon, visit La Ermita de Monserrate – Truly a Cuban colonial architectural jewel. Back to hotel for dinner. Free time at leisure. Hotel Selectum Family Resort.

 

21 Nov.: Varadero - Havana  (B, L)

After breakfast, check-out of hotel, drive to Havana (approximately 2.5 hours), stop at Puente de Bacunayagua to enjoy its spectacular views. Lunch on the way. Panoramic tour of the Revolution Square, the municipality of Vedado. Check-in at Grand Aston Hotel. Dinner on your own. Enjoy the Cannon Shoot- fired by soldiers in period uniforms at 9 PM every night.

 

22 Nov.: Havana - Vinales (B, L)

Full day visit at Viñales. The Viñales Valley is a limestone depression located in western Cuba that has been the home to productive agriculture for centuries, as in the case of tobacco cultivation. Lunch in Viñales. Afternoon, visit Tobacco Farm. Drive back to Havana. Dinner on your own. Free at leisure in the evening.

 

23 Nov.: Havana (B)

Visit Finca Vigia, is a house in San Francisco de Paula Ward in Havana, Cuba - which was once the residence of Ernest Hemingway. Like Hemingway's Key West home, it is now a museum. The building was constructed in 1886. It is at this house that he wrote “The Old Man and the Sea”. Visit Fusterlandia, a Mosaic Tile Wonderland. Lunch on your own. Afternoon, stop at the Bodeguita del Medio for a Mojito, Mojito is a traditional Cuban punch. The cocktail often consists of five ingredients: white rum, sugar, lime juice, soda water, and mint. Its combination of sweetness, citrus, and herbaceous mint flavors is intended to complement the rum, and has made the mojito a popular summer drink. (Optional). Visit San Jose Artisans Market. Dinner on your own. Option: Tropicana Show and Dinner - $150.00 per person.

 

24 Nov.: Havana (B, Farewell Dinner)

Morning: walking tour of Old Havana, including the four squares, the Cathedral, San Francisco de Asis Church, Museum of the Revolution, Capitol, National Theater.

After that, visit the rum factory; visit Callejon de Hamel - Callejon de Hamel is a narrow alley in Havana filled with lively colorful murals and sculptures made from bathtubs, hand pumps, and pinwheels, part of the Afro-Cuban culture. Lunch on your own. Afternoon, visit La Colmenita.

7:00pm Farewell dinner at Jardin de los Milagros. It is a privately owned paladar, where you will have the chance to exchange and be part of the Cuban family while enjoying tipical Cuban food.

 

25 Nov.: Havana - departure (B)

After breakfast at hotel, check-out hotel around 8am and transfer to the airport for flight to Miami at 11:45am. After arriving Miami at 12:55pm, transfer to the connecting flight in late afternoon.
